Cybersecurity Program Joins Red Hat Academy

秘色传媒 today announced that its Cybersecurity program has collaborated with , an open source, web-deployed and web-managed education program designed to provide turnkey curriculum materials to academic institutions to start and sustain an open source and Linux curriculum program. 

 

鈥淥ur goal is to prepare our graduates to be work-ready,鈥 said Suffolk County Community College President Dr. Edward Bonahue. 鈥淏uilding courses to match the expectations of our local employers, updating them as technology evolves, and supporting student training with hands-on labs ensures that our graduates can hit the ground running when they鈥檙e hired.鈥

 

鈥淭he addition of the Red Hat Academy to the Cybersecurity program further strengthens the connections of the Cybersecurity program to technology leading organizations. Our work with Red Hat Academy can expand and provide students with a well-rounded experience and access to industry-leading technologies that prepares them to both enter in the workforce as well as earn a professional certification that demonstrates industry required skills,鈥 said Jon Sadowski, specialist 鈥 Cybersecurity in Suffolk鈥檚 Department of Engineering and Industrial Technology.
