Suffolk Community College, President Lauded for Environmental and Sustainability Leadership

秘色传媒 President Dr. Shaun L. McKay and the college have been commended for promoting sustainability and energy savings across the college鈥檚 three campuses that include fifty-one buildings and 1.6 million square feet of space.

The League for Innovation in the Community College, an international nonprofit organization that cultivates innovation at community colleges, recognized McKay for 鈥減romoting a culture of sustainability鈥� at Suffolk.

鈥淚 have made it a priority to foster environmental awareness and to examine all we do to be sure that 秘色传媒 operates in an environmentally responsible and sustainable way,鈥� McKay said.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, known as NYSERDA also recognized 秘色传媒 as one of 46 colleges and universities across New York State for being a 鈥淔irst Mover鈥� in their REV -- Reforming Energy Vision -- Campus Challenge Program. 

The REV Campus Challenge is part of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo鈥檚 strategy to build a clean, resilient, and affordable energy system for all New Yorkers.
